Crawl Cosplay Challenge
Set 9 Week 5 : Pikel the Slaver
While kobolds are normally slaves, Pikel's rough life, selfish ambition and large stature have caused him to rise up and become a slaver himself. He is on his way to the Orcish Mines to sell his wares, a selection of timid humans who cower with every crack of his whip.

The Species, Background, and God choices are all mandatory. You must be worshipping one of the gods listed above before entering Lair, Orc, or Depths, unless this isn't possible in which case you must worship them as soon as you can. Don't use faded altars (except in challenges where you can choose any god), and don't do anything to lose your religion unless otherwise specified.
Special Rule
You can play this challenge in bcrawl, available on many servers. This is an experiment to try to allow more forks for the Cosplay Challenge; let me know what you think in the discord channel or the reddit discussion thread.
Cosplay conduct points
- 1. Weapons
Only use Maces & Flails weapons, as well as rocks, darts, and throwing nets.
- 2. Armour
Don't use a shield. Amulets of reflection are allowed.
(If you use the assistance file, bucklers are inscribed with "don't use," but normal shields are not. However normal shields are still prohibited under this conduct.)
- 3. Magic
Cast only spells of level 1 and 2.
Conducts are worth +5 points each, to a maximum of half your score from milestones, rounded down. (So if you achieve 4 milestones (20 points) you can earn up to 10 points from conduct bonuses.) Please indicate which conducts you qualify for when you post your morgue. Small mistakes in following conducts will usually be forgiven.
Bonus challenges
- 1. Happiness In Slavery
Enslave at least 9 uniques with Yred's "Enslave Soul" ability.
- 2. Carry The Black Torch
Win the game with at least 7 runes.
Bonus challenges are worth one star each, similar to banners in Crawl tournaments. Please indicate challenges that you qualify for. Small mistakes will usually be forgiven.
Milestones
- Reach XL3.
- Enter Lair, Orc, or Depths.
- Reach the bottom of D, Lair, or Orc.
- Collect your first rune.
- Find the entrance to Zot. (Just using magic mapping doesn't count.)
- Collect your third rune.
- Win the game.
The main way to score points. +5 points each, and can be done in any order.
